Mary Nenyo a level 400 nursing student of the Central University College Ghana, donates to the Nungua Orphanage.
Speaking to Mary Nenyo concerning why she sees the importance of donating food items costing almost 1500ghc to the orphanage, she explains she knows how it feels to have nothing. “Even most of us with parents, things can most times be difficult, how much more those in need, who have no one to put food on their table?, we as the society owns that responsibility, Moreover on my 23rd Birthday on the 16 February, instead of going out with old friends who already have what to eat and drink to spend and have fun, few of them joined me to go make new friends at the Nungua Orphanage, by donating just a little of food items to them. And it was indeed more fun being there''.
According to Mary Nenyo those in need are homeless not hopeless, and also believes they are part of the society, Mary Nenyo have plans of donating to help those in need especially the orphans more often.
She pleads with the society to remember and support those in need every day, for they are the luck that takes away our blessing… “There is more blessings in giving then receiving”
